06/25 Arizona sheriff took away Shaq's deputy badges. Shame. The Gatoraide soaked shirt of Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers brought $55,000 on eBay. It went to charrity.
06/27 Six underclassmen went in NBA draft. Three freshmen and 3 sophomores among the first 15 men taken. The #1 pick was Derrick Rose taken by The Bulls and Michael Beasley taken by Miami Heat.

06/15 The Devil Rays are still moving on. Matt Garza racked up 7 very good innings to get them victory over the Marlins. And Jonny Gomes hit a homer at his first at bat.
06/19 Its been 12 years since J.D. Drew turned down the Phillies when they drafted him #1. But the fans still remember and boo him every time he comes to bat.
06/30 The Devil Rays are hoping for a second half nearly as good as their 1st half of the season. Well - the Dodgers never got to bat in the ninth - and it ruined a no-hitter because they did not have 27 plate appearances. Just call it a no-no-no-hitter.
07/02 What in the world has happened to hitters. Not one is on pace to hit 40 home runs in the AL. Maybe its something in the water.
Bonds 756th home run ball is now in the Hall of Fame. It sold for $752,467 last year on ebay and the buyer ran a survey to find out what to do with it The winner was to put in the Hall with an asterick for the steroid use.

06/10 Goalie Dominik Hasek was known as the Terminator - has now decided to terminate himself. He is retiring after 17 seasons. He said he has no motivation anymore.

06/25 Ty Tryon was a rookie on his way up on the PGA tour in 2001. He had $8 million in endorsements and was a phenom. Then he did not make it. Today he has no endorsements and is trying to make it again on the tour. Good luck Ty.

06/19 Roger Federer and Ana Ivanovic are the #1 ranked player for the Wimbelton.
06/25 Venus Williams got through her 1st round match, as did Rafael Nadal at Wimbleton.
06/27 Maria Sharapova and Andy Riddick were not serving up aces in their match, but only humility.
06/30 The Willliams sisters are on track to meet each other at wimbledon. They have made it to the quarter finals.
MISC
06/10 With Big Brown hooked up with UPS, If I were Fed-Ex I would hitch up the Belmont stakes winner, Da'Tara. At the Belmont, there was a lack of water pressure, so the men were relieving themselves on the shrubs, and the women were using the men's room - I guess they were pretty desperate. And a power failure in New York caused a lot of folds to miss the race - it was a "brown out."
